Ghost therapy

Leadenhall Market on a Saturday is a good place to be. Painted ceiling, Victorian ironwork, a camera in roughly every third hand.
We were there with Markets SoLo Craft Fair in Beehive Passage — Saturday 12 September, 12 to 5pm, Leadenhall Market, Gracechurch Street, London EC3V 1LT. Five hours of talking to people about candles, which is the part of this job I would do for free.
Somewhere in the middle of it, the ghosts started a support group.
Ghost therapy
Little Ghost Reading went first, as it always does. It left our table entirely, moved over to the ceramics, and sat down on the corner of a matchbox with its book. No notice. No handover.

A small ghost with an open book held in both hands, the pages painted gold. Our quietest piece, in ghost form. Pink or white.

Then it found a chair. Pale blue, correctly proportioned, and — the part it did not check — a necklace. The chairs are by Studio Par Por, who make ceramics and home objects in London and have presumably never had to plan for this.

By the middle of the afternoon it had a companion. Little Ghost in a Pumpkin came over, put its arms on the rim, and said absolutely nothing for a very long time. This apparently counts as listening.

A little ghost sitting up inside a carved pumpkin, one wick through the top of its head. Orange or red.
Have a look →Two ghosts, one very small chair. Nothing was worked through. Everybody felt better.
